Buds by Shangri-la is Singapore’s largest play space designed and built for children in a hotel.

Comprising of the Explorer Zone, Toddler Zone, Theme Activity Rooms and an outdoor playground, children will have endless fun playing to their hearts’ content.

Toddler Zone

Bounce, swing, roam and let your littles ones slide down the toddler/ roller slides or navigate their way around the mazes. The ball pool at the slide exit allows children to jump and throw balls in the pool. The tappin tunes and the colour disc emit musical tunes and animal sounds when activated by hand or feet.

For babies with limited movement, baby bouncers attached to the ceiling allow babies to bounce around with the help of their parents.

Explorer Zone

The Explorer Zones for children above 4 years old comprises of Waterfall, Space, Mesh Cave, Underwater and Fire Mountain themes for children to immerse themselves in. It has a big ball pit under a mesh cave, climbing structures, air blasters for shooting foam slides and sand play area.

Overall, the play space includes a design incorporating themes of adventure, camaraderie, independence and social interaction with children of other nationalities.

Outdoor Playground

Ahoy! The massive pirate ship has docked at Shangri-la. Children’s love of adventure will run wild on board the ship. With binoculars, megaphones, cannons position around the ship, children will let their imagination run wild, pretending to be pirates, shouting commands and battling sea monsters in the seas.
To get a cool respite away from the tropical temperature, children have fun with the interactive spray park where they blast water with the watershooters or wait patiently for the water to drop from the bucket or tipping rainforest creating an enormous splash on the floor.

For smaller children, the discovery stream was created especially for them. It is fitted with fascinating water weirs that challenge the mind, thoughtful play and allow children to get involved.

Overall, the play space includes a design incorporating themes of adventure, camaraderie, independence and social interaction among children
