Designed for Inclusive Ageing
SilverActive is Asia’s first community fitness system designed for frail seniors, including wheelchair users. Calibrated for Asian physiques and built around safe, controlled movement, it enables confident exercise in familiar community and care environments.

DESIGNED FOR A CHANGING AGEING LANDSCAPE
When Ageing Changes,
Design Must Change
People are living longer — but longevity also brings reduced strength, slower balance responses, and greater caution in movement. Public fitness spaces must evolve to support these realities.

Closing the Participation Gap

Many seniors want to remain active, yet hesitate to use outdoor fitness areas that do not feel safe or adequately supported. Most conventional equipment assumes strength, coordination, and confidence — and is typically built to global standards that do not reflect the smaller body frames commonly found among Asian seniors.

For frail seniors and wheelchair users, these assumptions become barriers. Those who would benefit most from safe movement are often the least likely to begin.

SilverActive was created to close this gap — by designing for the frailest first, supporting real-life movements like standing, sitting, and walking, and enabling inclusive, community-based exercise close to home.

DESIGN PHILOSPHY
Designed for Inclusive Ageing

SilverActive is designed with the frailest seniors in mind — including those with reduced mobility or who rely on mobility aids.

Developed in collaboration with physiotherapists, caregivers, and seniors themselves, the system supports safe practice of everyday movements such as sitting, standing, stepping, and walking.

Placed within familiar neighbourhood spaces, SilverActive encourages shared exercise that helps seniors build confidence and maintain independence.

Built for long-term public use, the equipment uses durable materials and maintenance-conscious engineering to remain safe, reliable community infrastructure over time.
