The highlight of the playground consists of a flower shaped net emerging out of a play hill with crawl tunnels and embankment slides. The trampoline and vertical playground promotes physical and cognitive play which makes it challenging and fun for children and adults alike.
The playground also introduces sound play where children can experiment with sound and hear how sound waves move. The parabolic dish consists of two vertical stainless-steel dishes which creates an acoustic space for reflecting and focusing sound. Children can generate sound waves by clapping and stopping them with a wave of the hand. The Speaking Dish encourages children to explore cognitive play while communicating through tubes interconnected underground in pairs. They hear how the sound of their voices is affected by the resonant frequency of the tubes when they whisper, sing or speak through the open ends. The Slapped pipes creates percussive tones of the scale when children slapped the ends of the pipes with sandals.
