Playpoint was honoured to partner with Wellington College Jakarta, Indonesia’s first British heritage school, to create two inspiring outdoor play environments tailored to different stages of childhood development. Designed to complement the school’s vision of holistic learning, the playgrounds encourage exploration, creativity, physical activity, and meaningful social interaction in a nature-inspired setting.

Junior Playground
The Junior Playground is centred around an iconic Lappset treehouse-inspired play structure, creating a memorable forest-themed destination for adventure and imaginative play. The impressive multi-level tower features a tall slide, interconnected climbing challenges, bridges, and elevated play opportunities that develop strength, coordination, balance, and confidence while encouraging children to explore from different perspectives.

To enhance inclusive and collaborative play, the playground also features a large spinner carousel and a multi-user swing, allowing several children to play together at the same time. These carefully selected play elements provide a rich variety of movement experiences while fostering teamwork, communication, and social development.
Early Years Playground
Designed specifically for younger learners, the Early Years Playground provides a safe and engaging environment where children can develop through age-appropriate play. At its heart is the Lappset Activity Tower, offering accessible climbing, sliding, and interactive play experiences that support early physical and cognitive development.
The playground is complemented by a carousel, swing, a dedicated bike track with gentle rolling mounds that act as playful speed bumps, and a sandbox that encourages sensory exploration, creativity, and open-ended play. Together, these features create a well-balanced environment that nurtures curiosity, independence, and joyful learning.
Both playgrounds showcase Lappset's signature Nordic pine wood, sustainably sourced from responsibly managed Finnish forests. Renowned for its exceptional durability and natural beauty, the premium pine timber brings warmth and authenticity to the play environment while blending seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.
