Through our Play It Forward initiative, Playpoint partnered with EPIC Homes Malaysia to give two retiring playgrounds — generously donated by Aljunied Town Council — a second life. Instead of ending up in a landfill, these playgrounds made the journey to Kampung Orang Asli Bukit Manchung, a village of 800 residents in Malaysia, where they were reinstalled and restored to their true purpose: bringing children joy.
For the 150 children who call this village home, play had always been out of reach. Today, that’s changed. Where there was once no safe space to run, climb, and explore, there is now a vibrant play area — and a community brimming with energy and life
to ensuring that no playground goes to waste, and no child goes without play. Because every structure we save from the landfill is a space where a child’s imagination can run free.
We are deeply grateful to Aljunied Town Council for their generous donation, which made this possible. Together, we’re proving that when good things are passed forward, the impact is felt far beyond what we can imagine.
