The ‘Wall-holla’ is a multifunctional, modular play structure that we originally designed as part of a schoolyard. It was integrated in a sports court, solving a space and budget problem by combining sports, play equipment and safety surfacing into one object. Because of this, more than 60 children can play simultaneously, even though it is a very compact space. The vertical structure unites several functions which appeal to various age groups including lounging spaces, sliding, a crawl-through maze and climbing wall.

Curly Climbing Pole

On the outside of the Wallhola, there are climbing handholds that kids can use to reach the upper levels of the play structure. There is also a curvy fireman’s pole that they can use to slide down.
